What if you don't have to find your purpose?

What if you don't have to go out and find yourself?

There's this energy in the personal growth world that we have to go out and find these things–find joy, find our purpose, find our worth, find ourselves. But that energy is one of “I need to overcome something in order to be happy”.

“I need to climb this mountain and conquer it before I'm going to feel joy, before I'm going to feel good, before I'm going to let my life in”.

But what if you just were allowed to let your life in now?

What if happiness didn't have to be something that was hard to find?

When you approach it from a place of it IS going to be hard to find joy and it IS going to be hard for joy to get in.

Why? Because you’ve already decided that it will be.

That's always going to put you in a starting energy of feeling like you are about to face a fight. This thought-train is teaching your nervous system that happiness is hard to have and to hold–not what we want to be doing.

Let’s flip the script.

What if you could be happy without having to fight for it?

What if you could have joy and feel purposeful without overcoming a mystery to get there?

What if they were already right here?

What if you looked for the things that brought you joy, followed the things that felt curious and exciting to you and just gave yourself permission let your life in as it is right now without waiting to accomplish more?

What if you just went for what you wanted instead of thinking you had to earn it or struggle to get it?
